The role involves defining testing strategies and objectives for SAP implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
The candidate will collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, and developers to plan testing activities in line with project timelines.
Responsibilities include designing and reviewing test cases, executing system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing for SAP systems such as S/4HANA and ECC.
The SAP Test Lead will lead a team of testers, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality deliverables.
Mentoring junior testers and ensuring adherence to best testing practices is also required.
The role involves identifying, logging, and tracking defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Solution Manager, and collaborating with developers for timely resolution and retesting.
The candidate will act as the primary contact for all testing activities within the project and provide regular status updates and defect reports to stakeholders.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating test environment setup and ensuring compliance with internal standards and industry best practices.
The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in SAP testing, strong functional knowledge of SAP modules, and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC testing projects.
Proficiency in test case creation, execution, and defect management, as well as the ability to lead in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, is essential.
