Tachyon Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant for an onsite contractual position in Universal City, LA.
The candidate should have a strong background in SAP HCM, particularly in the payroll module.
Key responsibilities include leading the implementation and support of the SAP HCM Payroll solution, collaborating with business stakeholders to gather payroll requirements, and designing payroll schemas and rules.
The role involves ensuring payroll processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations, managing payroll cycles, and supporting year-end activities like W-2 processing.
The consultant will conduct unit and integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and provide production support.
Documentation of functional specifications and system changes is also required.
Collaboration with other SAP HCM modules, such as Time Management and Personnel Administration, may be necessary.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
They must possess 5–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM with a focus on US Payroll.
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll implementation and support projects is essential.
A strong understanding of payroll schema and PCR customization is required, along with experience in payroll taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
Familiarity with third-party system integration is beneficial.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills are necessary, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
