A company is seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Lead for a contractual position in New York, NY.
The role involves leading SAP EWM implementations and support activities within supply chain operations.
Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end SAP EWM projects, gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications, and configuring SAP EWM modules.
The candidate will integrate SAP EWM with ECC/S4HANA and other external systems, manage junior consultants and offshore teams, and collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and IT teams.
Additional duties include conducting system testing, providing training and go-live support, and developing project documentation.
The role also involves driving continuous improvements in warehouse processes using SAP capabilities.
The ideal candidate should have over 15 years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years specifically in SAP EWM.
They must have led at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP EWM.
Strong configuration and design experience in both standalone and embedded EWM in S/4HANA is required.
The candidate should be familiar with RF, Yard Management, Cross-Docking, VAS, Kitting, Slotting, and Labor Management.
An understanding of integration with TM, MM, SD, and PP modules is necessary.
Familiarity with Decentralized EWM, IDOCs, and Middleware (PI/PO/CPI) is also important.
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role.
