SMITH is seeking a Hybris Technical Architect for its Columbus, Ohio location.
The role involves leading the design and implementation of scalable ecommerce platforms for global brands.
The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to develop features that integrate ecommerce offerings.
Responsibilities include developing technical specifications, leading scrum sessions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
The architect will also collaborate with Solution Architects and Project Managers to estimate project efforts and ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.
The ideal candidate should have over five years of experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring, and at least three years with Hybris.
Experience in developing web-based applications using SOAP or REST is required.
The candidate should have completed at least one end-to-end Hybris implementation and acted as a platform architect or development lead.
Hybris certification is a plus.
Familiarity with JSP, JSTL, Tomcat, and Hibernate is beneficial.
The role requires exceptional client service skills and experience working with offshore teams is advantageous.
The candidate should possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a desire to mentor junior colleagues.
