The company is seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant/Project Manager to enhance their team in Kassel, Germany.
The role involves planning, designing, implementing, and advancing SAP architecture across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Key responsibilities include administering and monitoring SAP systems such as ERP, BW, HANA, S/4HANA, and HCM.
The consultant will implement and maintain security policies, manage user access, and develop IT service continuity plans, including disaster recovery.
Support for migration projects and cloud integration is also required.
The role includes creating and maintaining system documentation and collaborating with internal departments and external service providers.
Candidates should have a degree in computer science or a related field and several years of experience in SAP BASIS, ideally in a project leadership role.
Strong knowledge of SAP system administration, databases like HANA and Oracle, and operating systems such as Windows and Unix/Linux is essential.
Experience with SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, and system copies is required.
Proficiency in SAP security and authorization management is necessary, with experience in SAP Solution Manager and ILM being advantageous.
Excellent communication and moderation skills, a hands-on approach, and fluency in German and English are important.
