The company is seeking an SAP ABAP Developer – IT Consultant to join its team in Athens, Greece.
The role involves crafting and maintaining ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms to meet business needs.
The developer will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and create innovative solutions.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining integration interfaces between SAP and external systems, customizing SAP solutions, and creating technical documentation.
The role also involves supporting integration and user acceptance testing and collaborating with a diverse team to deliver successful projects.
Candidates should have a background in Technology, such as Informatics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, ideally with a post-graduate degree.
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a software engineer or in a similar technical role is required.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Design principles, excellent software development skills, and strong knowledge of SQL and Database design principles.
A problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and good communication skills in both Greek and English are also required.
Optional qualifications include experience in SAP environments, particularly with ABAP and/or Java stacks, and exposure to the insurance industry.
