The company is seeking a Junior SAP Basis Consultant to join their team in Cologne, Germany.
The role involves planning, designing, implementing, and developing SAP architecture across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
The consultant will administer SAP S/4HANA, BW, ERP, HCM, and Solution Manager systems.
Responsibilities include managing, optimizing, and monitoring SAP structures for clients and serving as the main contact for SAP Basis-related inquiries.
The consultant will also participate in the S/4HANA transformation process, acting as a liaison between business units and IT.
Key tasks include analyzing and resolving system errors and enhancing performance for smooth operations.
Candidates should have a degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent training.
They must possess strong knowledge of SAP installations, administration, and database management (HANA, Oracle, etc.), as well as operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux).
Experience in SAP upgrades, migrations, and system copies is required.
Proficiency in SAP security and authorization management is essential.
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and ILM is advantageous.
The role requires strong teamwork and communication skills, the ability to learn new topics independently, and fluency in German and good English skills.
