The company is seeking a SAP BASIS Consultant to join their SAP team at CSB.
The role involves participating in new implementation and roll-out projects, as well as providing SAP support for the technical architecture of existing clients.
Key responsibilities include analyzing new technical and business requirements, designing appropriate systems and infrastructure, and installing and configuring new systems, including operating systems, databases, and SAP applications.
The consultant will also handle system updates, migrations, functionality testing, and performance testing.
Additional duties include documenting implemented solutions, integrating with SAP Solution Manager, and providing technical support in SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring and incident-based support.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in IT and at least three years of experience in database and/or business application administration.
Fluency in English is required.
A strong understanding of system administration, IT architecture, operating systems, networks, and database concepts is essential.
Experience with business application concepts, planning, installation, administration, and user support is also necessary.
Knowledge or experience with SAP Business Objects, SAP BW/NetWeaver, SAP Basis, and Business Intelligence/Analytics solutions is advantageous.
Familiarity with databases like MS SQL, IBM DB/2, Oracle, Sybase, and HANA is beneficial.
German language skills are a plus.
The role requires strong interpersonal skills, teamwork ability, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work under pressure.
A willingness to learn and travel is also important.
