BTC AG is seeking a Lead Developer for Big Data and SAP HANA with a home-office option in various German cities.
The role involves designing future-proof SAP software architectures with an 8-member team, including developers, a SCRUM Master, and a Product Owner.
The Lead Developer will take strategic and operational responsibility for building and utilizing central HANA data platforms for clients in the energy sector, including EWE Group companies.
Key tasks include implementing and developing data models and procedures in SAP HANA using SQL, SQL Script, CDS Views, and standard HANA functions.
The role also involves supporting the Product Owner by analyzing customer requirements and validating feasibility.
The position is fully remote and emphasizes knowledge sharing and continuous learning in new technologies.
Candidates should have a degree in (business) informatics or a related field, or equivalent training.
Experience in software development with HANA (SQL, SQL Script) is required, along with proficiency in at least one programming language.
Experience with transformation technologies (SLT and SDA), native programming with XS Classic/XS Advanced, or data modeling with HANA Studio is advantageous.
Knowledge of web service provisioning (OData-Services) is desirable.
The role requires enthusiasm for agile collaboration and a holistic view of SAP technologies for client applications.
Proficiency in German at a minimum B2 level is necessary.
