The company is seeking an SAP HANA Data Modeler to join its team in Herndon, VA.

The role involves developing dimensional and transactional calculated views in SAP HANA.

The candidate will evaluate source data systems for variances and efficiency.

They will create scalable, reusable data models and optimize logical and metadata models.

Performance tuning of long-running queries and procedures is required.

Collaboration with data owners and scientists to understand enterprise data relationships is essential.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of HANA architecture and other business intelligence suites like COGNOS and Informatica.

Knowledge of Attribute Based Access Control and the ability to analyze business needs for long-term data solutions is necessary.

Understanding relational, dimensional, and cube-based relationships is important.

Experience with enterprise-scale relational databases and building queries in SAP HANA Studio using BW/4HANA Objects is required.

Familiarity with reporting tools such as Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, and Jupyter Notebooks is needed.

Experience in developing SAP S4/HANA CDS Views and performance tuning with large data volumes is essential.

ABAP programming and SQL skills are required.

Experience with SDLC methodologies like Agile and Waterfall is beneficial.

Exposure to Smart Data Access, Smart Data Integration, and cloud tools is advantageous.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.

Professional certifications are desired.
