The company is seeking an SAP NS2 Expert DevOps Engineer to join their Cloud Infrastructure DevOps team.
The role involves designing and deploying infrastructure solutions to support SAP products and services.
The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and be located within commuting distance to Austin, TX, with an expectation to work in the office 3-4 days per week.
Key responsibilities include writing and modifying Terraform code, running Ansible playbooks, using GitLab for infrastructure maintenance, and configuring containerized services with Docker or Kubernetes.
The engineer will troubleshoot connectivity issues, produce technical documentation, and implement monitoring and logging capabilities.
The role requires a security-first mindset and the use of generative AI to enhance efficiency and security.
Candidates should have knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP foundational technologies, and be proficient in Terraform, CI/CD technologies, and scripting languages like Bash or Python.
Experience with RBAC design, cloud logging, and networking is essential.
Strong Linux OS skills and familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira are also required.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with 10-15+ years of relevant experience, is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include expertise in large-scale distributed systems, code optimization, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
The compensation range for this position is $189,800 – $322,600 USD, depending on various factors.
