Genesis Consulting Partners, LLC is seeking a full-time SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Lead for a hybrid position in Houston, TX.
The role involves leading the finance transformation for a public sector organization transitioning from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using RISE with SAP Private Cloud.
Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing the SAP S/4HANA Finance module, ensuring compliance with public sector accounting and reporting standards.
The candidate will lead the SAP S/4HANA Finance workstream, covering areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Funds Management.
They will provide strategic guidance on best practices, assess current system configurations, and design future-state solutions.
The role requires collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with deployment best practices.
Additional duties include supporting data migration, conducting system testing, and providing post go-live support.
Candidates must have over 10 years of SAP Finance experience, focusing on SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Experience leading at least one end-to-end SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration in a public sector environment is required.
Strong knowledge of RISE with SAP Private Cloud and expertise in public sector accounting and government financial reporting are preferred.
Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology, Agile project delivery, and SAP Fiori-based UX is advantageous.
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is a plus.
