The company is seeking a Principal SAP Technical Consultant to join its Global Professional Services team.
This remote, full-time role involves leading the technical components of SAP implementations, focusing on integrating Vertex tools with the SAP Business Technology Platform.
The consultant will implement e-invoicing solutions and serve as a senior SAP ABAP programmer, specializing in financial, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash processes.
Key responsibilities include evaluating business requirements, developing custom SAP code, performing software testing, and creating documentation.
The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to Vertex’s best practice methodology.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
SAP technology certifications are strongly recommended.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP programming, testing, and debugging is required, with expertise in ABAP OOP, BADIs, BAPIs, and other SAP technologies.
Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform and e-invoicing is essential.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of SAP methodologies and experience in SAP SD, MM, and/or FI modules, particularly with tax-related functionality.
